So how do I get started?

Before diving right into pricing, we like to get a solid grasp of the goals of each and every project, and need to get a few questions answered: What are we trying to accomplish? How much time do we have? Are these projects recurring? Any requirements that might need to be met? After our initial Q&A session, we will be able to determine what’s necessary for the situation and it will allow us to lay down the necessary brickwork. We will conference and decide on the most appropriate and logical presentation for the situation and find a way to commit and deliver.

How long does it take to complete a regular project?

Disc projects are based upon when Media Forefront has received all of the necessary materials including the master & artwork, and all artwork proofs for disc and component prints have been approved. Day One begins when everything has been approved and confirmed by the factory. After approval, the estimated time lies between five to seven business days for bulk disc orders, while packaging may add several days to the process depending upon the current level of production. For all projects larger than 100,000 units, please allow for extra time, as this will be based upon the working schedule.

For other types of projects, turnaround time can be determined on a case by case basis. Factors such as production time, shipping, and quality control must all be taken into consideration. Media Forefront will work with our customers to assure deadlines are met and we guarantee to deliver the highest quality products in the market today.

What formats do you accept for master submission?

For CD’s, we can accept CD-R’s. For both DVD5 and DVD9, we prefer to receive DLT’s Version 2.0 and up, however we are able to work with either DVD-R or dual layer DVD-R’s as well. The reason we prefer DLT’s is because we have seen recurring incidences where the DVD-R’s we have received were burned with an excess amount of binary code errors which does not allow us to create the stamper.

Regardless of CD or DVD masters, we strongly recommend to submit several backup copies in addition to the original master so that we can directly attempt to use the backup copy in case there are any errors detected from the original master. This can save a tremendous amount of time and effort going back and forth before receiving a new master.

What type of printing and disc printing services do you offer?

• Business cards
• Flyers/Postcards
• Catalogs/Brochures
• Books
• Banners/Posters
• Stickers

In addition we offer other printing services that are not listed above. Please contact us for more information.

For discs, we offer both Offset & Silkscreen printing to provide award-winning detail of print.

Offset Printing allows the freedom for photo quality printing, being able to showcase a higher resolution (300 DPI) and shows its true calling in cases in which artworks provided contain people, landscapes, or anything requiring the utmost detail.

Silkscreen Printing excels when there is a need for Pantone color matching. This is necessary for projects requiring precision color matches.

What other services do you offer?

What formats do you accept for artwork submission?

The best way to submit artwork files is by Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or Quark Express. We need to have the artwork presented in a resolution of 300 DPI or higher for optimum printing output. As a helpful hint, always embed the fonts into the artwork as our output center may not have all the fonts required, and do not submit artwork in RGB color mode as we are unable to print for this color mode.
