Ethical Standards at the Workplace

As major retailers across the globe annually raise the bar with stringent requirements for international manufacturing standards, it has become imperative for suppliers to adopt and implement new workplace and workforce ethical standards in order to meet this growing need.

Media Forefront, Inc. has continued to evolve its programs in order to meet the demand for higher manufacturing standards. This involves a top to bottom company approach spearheaded by a quality control team that evaluates on an individual project basis, setting manufacturing benchmarks for each step of the process until its completion.


Materials Inspection:

At the request of clients, Media Forefront, Inc. is able to provide materials safety data sheets (MSDS) reports for any and all raw materials used in the production process. Whether the raw materials consist of plastic, rubber, metal, fabric, or paper; Media Forefront, Inc. only works with materials that are able to consistently pass international standards for toxicity and lead content. Because of this, we are able to attain food grade level, kid safe products as well as develop products safe for the makeup and beauty industry. We are capable of working with independent laboratory parties including SGS Labs and Bureau Veritas to quality control check our raw materials, manufacturing processes, and facilities used.


Ethical Workplace Standards:

It is one thing to say that you have high ethical workplace standards, it is a totally different matter when you can enforce those standards on a consistent basis. Media Forefront has worked to build upon its standard trying to provide a safe and stress free environment for all its employees.

• Compliant with all local laws and regulations per region and country.

• Workplace meets SA 8000 standards (www.sa-intl.org)

• All wages paid to workers meet the minimum standard based upon local laws and industry standard practices.

• Child labor is prohibited.

• All workers are treated with respect and the conditions for employment are based upon an individual's ability to perform the job, not on discriminatory bases of personal characteristics such as gender, ethnic origin, religion, or personal beliefs.

• Workers are provided with a safe and clean working environment.

• Workers are appropriately supervised and trained to perform their jobs safely.


Environmentally Conscious:

Media Forefront is actively engaged in protecting the environment and manufactures with a high degree of responsibility to the world. Media Forefront works to reduce its impact on the environment through the recycling of materials and properly disposing of excess materials through government certified agencies.

Paper used for printing and packaging is in accordance with the Forest Stewardship Council (www.fsc.org). What this means is that the paper that is used for our products were produced on environmentally responsible tree plantations where trees are re-grown preventing further deforestation in the world.
